Description:
Our client is looking for a Project Manager to be the customer’s Single Point of Contact to support the deployment of a specific project within a large program;

Tasks:
•Facilitate project review meetings;
•Ensure that the project Status report is prepared and delivered to the customer;
•Coordinate the work activities of the project including working with the customer’s representatives as specified by the customer;
•Identify, track, document, prioritize and escalate issues of the project;
•Create and maintain a log of the project change requests for the project according to the requirements specified;
•Create and maintain log of the project’s variances for the service project according to the requirements specified;
•Create and maintain project plans and keep project on schedule according to the specified requirements;
•Create and maintain the project risk register according to the requirements specified;
•Create and maintain project status reports;
•Manage the identification, prioritization, escalation, prioritization and resolution of issues for projects;
•Manage project team members.


Must Have Skills:

Requirements:
•7 years as a Project Manager including a minimum of 2 non-stop years managing telecommunication projects;
•Total of 15 years experience in IT;
•Managed large budgets (within his experience = to $10M or more);
•Worked for a telecommunication services provider with a minimum of 5,000 users or more;
•Valid Government of Canada - Security Secret Clearance;
•Ability to communicate on all levels;
•Great communication skills in English;
