Jr. Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Supporting the management team on matters within various departments. Critical attributes of this position include: a positive, proactive “can do” attitude, personable, with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate must possess the willingness to learn, resourcefulness, and be a self-starter; as well as possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities simultaneously, with a strong work ethic.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to the management team
- Manages several key members of the management teams calendar and communicates with internal and external clients to schedule appointments and coordinate arrangements/conferences calls
- Responsible for general administrative duties, boardroom set-up and coordinate material for weekly committee meetings
- Maintains and effective file management system (paper and electronic) to maximize efficiency and organization
- Coordinates extensive travel arrangements, including booking airfare, hotels and all business conference travel
- Prepare and submit expense reports


Must Have Skills:


- Post-Secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience to successfully complete the essential requirements of the role
- Professional, responsive, friendly and able to build productive relationships within the company
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Self-Starter with excellent anticipation skills; problem solving; follow up
- Demonstrates high degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Comfortable working in a sometimes hectic, high-pressure environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Pro, Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
