The Opportunity

This exciting new role is available as part of the product team expansion. The position is a unique opportunity to build creative solutions for complex problems using cutting-edge technology. As a member of the team, you will be designing a suite of products serving the largest capital market in the world. They are looking for professionals who are passionate and excited about innovative technology, have advanced knowledge and experience with workflow design, interaction design, user application design, and web design.

What You'll Do

Be part of the core product team that influences the design aesthetic of experiences
Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams on a daily basis
Act as design originator through ideation, build and release of various features
Create and document quality wireframes, prototypes, mock-ups, user stories, and user journey
Articulate design specifications to developers and product managers to refine user experiences
Always have a user-oriented design approach and constantly test your designs

Must Have Skills:

What You'll Need

University/college education in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Digital Design, or similar fields
At least 2 years of professional work experience in UI/UX design capacity
Expertise in UI/UX software such as Sketch, Adobe CS, Illustrator‎, Photoshop and the like
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is an asset
Extensive experience in using design best practices to create user-friendly software solutions
A great understanding of user-focused design approach and testing methodologies
Ability to articulate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams
Team-oriented, driven, creative, and detail-oriented
A strong design portfolio or sampling of your work is required as part of the application process

Nice to Have Skills:

Previous experience or familiarity with start-up and software company environment
Have a high aptitude for learning new skills and tools
An entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy working in an agile environment

Like to learn and grow with teammates in a highly collaborative and open environment
Understanding of or interest in finance, investments, and capital markets
