Intermediate Business Analyst IAM (GIA)

Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to act as a Business Analyst responsible for requirement gathering & documenting identity access solutions for existing and new services ensuring that no gaps exist prior to Go-Live. Current key initiatives within the IdM team include construction of a new Identity Access Control platform (SailPoint); streamlining provisioning & certification workflows into our client's technology standards & operations.

Key Responsibilities:

•The incumbent reports to Associate Director, Corporate Directory and Identity Management and has the following responsibilities:
•Support the implementation of identity access functions into the client's Access Request System (ARS)
•Understand business processes and relate them to the implementation of a complex system
•Develop detailed BRD that contribute to a successful SRS.
•Develop data and presentation materials to support business scenarios reviewed for high-level introduction and user acceptance testing functional reviews
•Creation and review of functional requirements/Understand what the business requires
•Write system changes requests, when gaps are found as part of business analysis
•Troubleshoot and problem solve as it relates to system functional defects
•Understand, analyze, test and detail new end-to-end business processes
•Implement system management and operational policies as defined by IT Management
•Develop user guides for business users of the functions deployed within ARS
•Ensure assigned deliverable are completed on time
•Understand both business and IT speak
•Escalate issues and resolutions to Project and Senior Management teams as required
•Liaise with various Project Team members
•Provide time critical support for Identity mgmt. functions during implementation phase
•Provide SME support to ARS business users as may be required


Must Have Skills:

Critical competencies:
•Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
•Knowledge of Identity Access systems & solutions (i.e. SailPoint IIQ)
•Knowledge of processes and strategies related to software implementations
•Experience in structured methodologies for the identification of user requirements and the development of specifications
•Ability to manage and contain project scope
•Facilitation, negotiation, consensus building and problem-solving skills
•Ability to evaluate alternatives, make appropriate unbiased and timely decisions
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Strong analytical skills, including listening and questioning skills
•Ability to work effectively both independently and within a large team environment
•Ability to prioritize and maintain organization while remaining flexible
•Experience with business process modeling
•Participate and/or lead training and BUAT sessions
•Bilingual (English and French)


Nice to Have Skills:

•Knowledge of the IAC platform SailPoint
