We're looking for an energetic Sales Engineer to help us make a difference in the world of software security. We're growing rapidly with many high profile clients with a World-wide presence, and we are searching for someone to help ensure we match the correct blend of products and services with our clients needs.

This role will be primarily focused on pre-sales, with some hands-on post-sales activities included. As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with our enterprise clients as well as our Field & Inside Sales teams.

This position can be located anywhere within North America, within close proximity to major airports.

• You are naturally curious - your first instinct in any conversation is to ask insightful questions and genuinely care about the answers, which you will analyze and react to on-the-fly.
• You excel at clearly explaining technical concepts to audiences with varying experience levels and generating creative ways to solve problems.
• You have experience confidently presenting to C-level executives and can gracefully adapt your presentation style to their interests.
• You know how to leverage the right teammates across multiple internal business units to achieve top-shelf results and keep the sales process moving.
• You are great at managing customer/partner expectations and keeping people happy without compromising the integrity of a fast-paced delivery process.
• The idea of helping some of the largest and most influential companies in the world solve challenging Application Security problems personally excites and motivates you.
• You are a great active listener and strong in gaining the trust of others around you.

Core Responsibilities
• Responsible for both pre-sales and post-sales activities.
• Performing remote & on-site demonstrations of our products (SD Elements, Computer
Based Training) and services.
• Handling objections and providing relevant collateral from our knowledge base.
• Understanding and following our sales process for all products and services.
• Holding regular status meetings with existing portfolio clients.
• Proactively identifying areas for product improvement before they turn into support
issues.
• Optionally speaking at conferences and writing articles on topics relating to software
security.
• Relentless focus on making sure we exceed customer expectations.

Desired Experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a technical Sales Engineer or proven success in both Sales and Technical roles.
• Proven ability to learn quickly with minimal guidance.
• Passion and drive to improve the state of software security.
• Ability to travel up to 30-40% on weekdays.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and listening skills.
• Enthusiasm, drive, and initiative.
• Basic familiarity with software development tools and security practices is an asset.
