Job Description

As Scrum Master, you will be responsible for executing a work stream(s) by providing effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and coaching skills. You will work hands-on daily with the Scrum Team to keep the iteration delivery on-time and with the expected functionality. You will be responsible for encouraging adherence to the rules of Scrum, removing impediments from the team while promoting self-management and constantly improving standards of work. Agile is the primary methodology to be used to govern program deliverables internally as well as with Company partners and customers. The Scrum Master position is critical within the program.

The ideal candidate for this role must possess exceptional facilitation, communication, organization and time management skills. They must be self-directing with the ability to identify priorities and mobilize projects in an orderly fashion to achieve desired results and be collaborative in driving decisions. They must have the ability to understand technical issues at a high level and be self-motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems.


Must Have Skills:

Required Experience:
- Strong understanding of, and experience with, XP practices
- Lean thinking and principles
- Experience with Kanban methodology
- Experience with Scrum methodology
- Experience with Agile tools (Jira, )
- Experience with Agile reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Well versed in Project management principles
- Ability to work with teams in multiple sites (onsite, offshore, nearshore)
- Proven ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines
- Understanding of accountability and ownership
- 5+ Years of Project Management Experience
- At least 5 Years Agile Experience required
- Scrum Master Certification a must
- Demonstrated knowledge of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision, and with other non-technical departments
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills both verbal and written
- Excellent Team Building and Empowerment Skills.
- Experience with ALM tools is a must.


Nice to Have Skills:

- Experience with SAFe
