These recent developments, and rate of growth, have them looking for an experienced and high potential Development Manager.

The Development Manager will help the company reach new levels of growth this year. This position will be working closely with the Directors, CEO, and the Development team helping to drive the management and execution of projects and product sprints.

Expected responsibilities are:
- Developing and tracking the schedule
- Working with Development team members for work estimates
- Anticipating challenges and facilitating workable solutions
- Being responsible for the day-to-day management of the Backend Development team



Must Have Skills:

- Post-secondary education in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical schooling
- Experience managing a small to mid-size Development team
- Deep understanding of software development (background as backend developer - Ruby, Python, Go, etc.)
- Familiar with and a proponent of Agile development methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in managing a development schedule
- Confident and effective verbal communication skills
- High comfort level and demonstrated experience in people management practices
- Has passion for technology, but an affinity for managing people
